That photo Chang says it all. The flying Lime! Wonder what Doug thinks of that. Can he find anything complimentary in it?
Any goalkeeper in the world except De Gea would have done that mate. Or something

He didn't do well on that particular goal. I don't think anyone is saying Howard is mistake-free. I guarantee it won't take too much digging to find a goal that looks as bad as that or worse for every starting goalkeeper in the Premier League, though. Here's a shot of David De Gea diving behind Alexis Sanchez for Arsenals' first goal against them in October:That photo Chang says it all. The flying Lime! Wonder what Doug thinks of that. Look chaps it's like a game of spot the defender...
Always said this !! law of football if you score 3 away and don't win , the goalie and defence are a complete shower! If you score THREE away you should win!
In the six yard box Doug?Look chaps it's like a game of spot the defender...
He came for a cross v Bournemouth just after we went 2up and missed it completely and stones cleared off the lineSo so false. Speaking in absolutes like that is foolish and wrong. Each ball in is different, and you have to account for traffic, pace of the cross, angle, etc. I watch several spurs matches, and there are multiple times when on corners or other crosses, Lloris doesn't come for a ball in and around his 6, and I think we can all agree he's a top keeper. Same goes for many others.
Should Howard have claimed the corner against Liverpool? No doubt. Should he have claimed the cross against Bournemouth, not a chance in heck any keeper gets to that. Same goes for Palace.

My issue with the Bournemouth's 3rd goal was why he was so far over to his post (same against Man Utd last year di Maria's goal)
The Bournemouth header centre of our net and Howard is nowhere
If Stanislas had put it into the top corner then fair enough not much you can do about it
But if Howard's in the centre of his goal it's an easy save and we win the 3points
Neville southall tweeted after the palace goal if he stays in the centre of his goal it would have been an easy save
Cech for arsenal the other night had a save from a header
And the commentator said great positioning
He caught the ball like he was playing catch with his kids in the garden
No star jumps no closing his eyes no heroics trying to save with his feet
Just in the centre of his goal making a straight forward save like all good goalies do
Probably de geaHi Steve, if you could buy any goalkeeper who's not played for Everton in the past or present as Tims replacement who would it be?
Probably de gea
Though I think neuer is considered the best in the world
But I've not seen him play that much
Sorry I read your question wrongRight so not Yashin? Jennings? Zoff? Zubizarreta? Banks? Leighton? Schmeichel?
Just like the two best on Fifa now.
Sorry I read your question wrong
I thought you meant now
By the way in 44 and never played Fifa in my life
Never saw Yashin or banks obviously and only saw Jennings latter years but he was quality
Zoff I only seen in the 82 World Cup no Italian football in TV then
Jim Leighton surely that was a mistake to put him in that company
Of all the keepers I've ever seen and this is manly in the English leagues
Schmeichel is the best I've seen after southall
Hi Steve, if you could choose as our goalkeeper either Tim Howard or a lump of poo which would it be?He came for a cross v Bournemouth just after we went 2up and missed it completely and stones cleared off the line
