A typical Howard performance mate i would say, but hey he made a record number of saves in a world cup game - shame they lost that game and he conceded a few though - seems always to be omitted does that stat

not much more to say on him, he's not good enough, the manager has a real blind spot with him and it's an issue

Martinez has a few too many blind spots. I like the man, and think he represents the club excellently except in the area which is most important...winning.

Thing is, Joel is 11 years younger. He has time to learn and improve.*

Howard has never worked on his weaknesses. That's what really pisses me off.



* Not saying Joel is the answer, but at least when a young player makes mistakes you can argue they're learning and hope they improve. I stopped believing Howard could improve a long time ago.

The difference in quality between him and De Gea is 15 points a season IMO.

I reckon Krul would be worth 15 points a season and he is crocked.

Thought he'd started the season well but it's gone to pot a bit of late.

His inability to communicate with his defence brings shivers to my spine. A shout here and there would certainly help alleviate some of his failings.

Also someone needs to cut that bungee-cord that's obviously tied around his chest, as coming off his line to get the ball would also help.
