it was always destined to turn into an American bashing thread. Since our only American has become very bashable. Understandedly there is not a lot of respect for us in footballing culture. All we can seem to do is get out of the group every four years. Tim Howard just happens to be something most of us have an additional familiarity with since American media covers him while not always covering English football as a whole.

Bad news though, it is getting easier with the internet and with the American TV package (I get to see all Everton games live here- in fact all EPL games) to follow and we are going to just keep coming in numbers. There is really little that can be done about it. Many of us played all our lives and have followed all our lives and all our kids play and your game is being increasingly marketed to us. It won't be long before all of us select a favorite English Club and many will choose EFC. The momentum is there.

Now if you will excuse me, gun club was exhausting today I need to go drink a cold beer and take a nap.
