it amazes me that what Aiden (and Naisy) bring to the table is not universally exalted. I note even our celebrated GK (the US secretary of defence) has attracted some negative reaction today as well. I think there will be some chastened posters to this forum when we over haul Stoke.

The PL season is a marathon, not a sprint. Everton is just heading into the home straight now and I suggest traditional PL heavyweights (the likes of Newcastle and Stoke) are very worried about the 'runner in blue' coming for them.

Last season mate...before Oviedo broke his ankle. The run where he scored the winner vs United when Baines was hurt. The melts were going mad that Baines immediately started when he returned to fitness.
