Dear Grand Old Team,

As you may know, I am perhaps the biggest cheerleader of American soccer/SOCCAH/football on this here forum. Y'know, with the USMNT match previews and the sparkly eagle gifs and the outrageous bets in support of my country.

I hereby publicly proclaim, for all Evertonians to see, that Howard's performance today was abysmal beyond belief, and that he should be dropped and punted to MLS this summer.

In football, you either die a hero or stick around long enough to become the goat. Time to hang it up and move on, Tim.

Could still have lost us the match after we equalised. It's completely ridiculous if he keeps his place after today's performance.

But here's the rub,

He has to keep his place.

He himself was put under increased pressure by being brought back with no justification.

If he is dropped then the situation is reversed and Joel will suddenly find himself under pressure as he will be perceived as number one.

Martinez should have left well enough alone and let Joel grow into the position and evolve into number one if his fine performances continued, without this added pressure.

Our goalkeeping situation is now in crisis and the manager is to blame.

Robles should play while he's somewhat in form

I fear neither of them are the long term solution though

fair play mate, that's very brave of you to let us do that to your national league... but it is crap anyway. can see it now, gerrard's only goals will be against howard next season.
