Tim Howard

He's always had the odd mistake in him. Last season they were masked by the fact we scored a lot of goals and he did pull off some good saves.

This season he has been terrible, I know Robles hasn't looked amazing like but he's got to give him a chance to give Howard the kick up the backside he needs.

Even rodgers has tried a plan B, drop Mignolet, go three at the back, he even dropped immortal stevie G Laaa, so far Martinez has tried to stick to the three attacking midfielders, sacrificing the likes of Barkley and Eto'o on the wings. Injuries havent helped of course.

He's bang average and has been for years. Always a liability, has about 1 good game every 7. Makes simple things look difficult, and having a decent World Cup makes him think he's untouchable. Can't stand the bloke.

Like every other everton player this year except besic and stonsey Howard has had a bad season, he's also had a different back four in front of him every week and a midfield comprised of no:10's who haven't a clue about the defensive side of the game. With Southampton 3-0 up he made a great save pushing the ball wide of on rushing attackers with strong hands, which shows he has worked on his faults from previous games. I think if we get a settled side and more confidence in our defensive set up you will see a better tim howard.

He'll be 36 in a few months. It's a bit late for us to be hoping he'll improve, especially as he's been crap for most of the past 4 seasons

But harsh that.

How much do people reckon we'd have to pay for begavic of Krul?

Yeah, Joe Hart was dropped when he went out of form as well. That done him the world of good.

Hmmm. Think you should rewatch that save from Fonte (if we're on about the same one).

Was at 2-0. And I thought great save too from where I was. But seeing it again he tried to almost scoop it away. As you say trying to learn from his faults. But he didn't push it far and was lucky a defender was there and not a forward.

fair enough , I thought he had a wall of players in front of him and he put it wide into space. I'm not coming on here saying he is a world beater .but I would rather our money was spent elsewhere this summer.
