I have no problem with Americans, I find it insulting you insinuate that, I genuinely enquired as to joey's views on jozy, you have a problem with that ?

He's somewhere between Messi and Ronaldo....

Reality? He's probably a French League caliber striker that scores 10-12 a year there. I think he could actually be a 5 a year guy for Sunderland, but he doesn't get any minutes because well...5 a year isn't a great return. He's looked decent in his cameos recently though against some top competition.

To be fair, Howard is deservedly being whipped at the moment.

Some of the posts today make it hard to generate a good argument for dropping Howard because they're so awful, the pro Howard team have had it far too easy lol

I do hope he comes back into form, but I worry that the WC was his crowning moment and is now on the decline. I'd love him to prove me wrong of course, he plays for us! But there's some very basic stuff not being corrected.

Yeah. My big worry is that it's in his head at the moment. Second guessing himself and what not. You don't go from the top of your game to having a crap run in 3 months time because you lost your physical ability. The mental game is a whole different animal.

Idk if it's his confidence or his focus, but that's why I'm hopeful he'll be able to get back on top of his game.

The WC would have taken a lot out of him, the USA is very, very patriotic about those sorts of tournaments, Tim would be no different.

I've said in the past and still feel the same way, Howard is a top 8 keeper, and we're a top 8 team. He's a really good example of us as a team: indifferent, inconsistent, good runs of form, bad runs of form, world class performances against Chelsea, then dog awful ones against Hull. Everton ffs.

On his top game he's not good enough, I don't mean he's bad but if verton want to push on I do t think he's good enough, along with Hibbert, McGeady, Osman, naismith, Oviedo,piennar, ...... Even Barry. That do t mean we're bad , it means we are at a level we deserve to be, we need better to kick on, that's not negative, it's realistic.

I sort of get what you're saying, and it'd be wonderful if we could sign Neuer, Zabaleta, Hazard, Oscar, Aguero, and Di Maria, but we can't.

Howard on top of his game isn't bested by many.

Don't care if you are, but given that there's an insinuation Joey might have a biased opinion because Howard is an American I think it's only right to also point out that your post history suggests a possible bias from you in the opposite direction.

Those comments aren't anti American, they're anti idiots. Sadly, America is over represented in that category.
