I agree on some points mate.

The Robles thing is a massive balls up. I think a bit of it was why Howard was ok last season. He had a viable challenger forcing him to up his game. Now we all realise Robles is as much of a challenge as eating a boiled egg Howard can relax. And is doing.

An under performing Howard may well be down the priority list. But it's moving up that list at an alarmingly fast rate. How many more obvious goal conceding errors will it take?

Yeah but say we take Wednesday in insolation for this season, if Distin isn't beaten so easily there's not a shot on whoever is in goal good or bad. Same can be said for last Sunday actually. There have been a lot more times Howard's been left exposed by the players in front of him who arent taking any blame and people calling for their heads because he's the last line of defence and the obvious candidate.

The problem as ever with us at the moment comes down to money and how to priorities it. Howard's just got a long term contract means he's stating unless we get an offer he can't refuse.

Are you talking about Howard, Migolet, Hart, Sczeney?...

All those problems can be thrown at every goalkeeper in the league besides Courtois and DeGea.
Hart is a much better keeper and the other two want last as long as Howard has at Everton if minolget(spelling) carries on with this form he won't last another year at Liverpool
Howard to goalkeeping is what James Beattie was to being a striker
And after 12 months every Everton fan knew he wasn't good enough and moyes bought
yakubu
Even the best keeper in the world will make the odd mistake but surely a goalies job is to win more points than he looses
And for me over 8 yrs Howard hasn't done this

Absolutely. Distin ballsed up. No question.

But a top class keeper can win you games when the defence has messed up. See Lloris against us as an example.

Howard was still beaten at his best post mind you!

Clubs that can spunk £100m in a transfer window.

City bought hart from Shrewsbury not sure how much he cost but I'm sure it would have been in our price range
Moyes has to take some blame because of some of the [Poor language removed] we had as back up over the yrs

Actually Moyes wanted Hart and tracked him for quite a while but we couldn't afford him and he moved to City before they struck gold.;)

do tell of that example where Lloris was tested after we scored a wondergoal, I cant think of a save, is that a little bit of revisionism

Let's just sign one of them and be done with it. Don't think any 'Muricans like myself would have an issue there. Problem solved. We're only a billionaire away guys.

Wasn't a wonder save mate. I forget who had our chance but Lloris made a standard save at his near post near the end, I vaguely think just before or just after our handball peno shout.

As I say wasn't spectacular at all. But a save he should have made at his near post.

See Wednesday night for how to not do that.
