As much as I loved the passion of his reaction to Costa's taunting of Coleman, he was lucky not to get sent off tbh especially for going head to head with Azpilicueta. That is on top of the handball. Think the ref didn't like Costa's reaction either so let him off - bit like Dowd should have sent off Mirallas in the derby but the moaning of the physio meant he just got a yellow for the Suarez kick.

Pretty much this. We all LOL'd when Pepe was sent off in the WC for a head tap. Tim did more.

He shoulda been gone for handling outside the area anyway. Not sure WTF he was doing there.

RE Mirallas: Dowd did the right thing. Legendary 'tackle' by Mirallas.

The referee has to take into account Costa was taunting the everton players.

Its called unsporting conduct. A yellow card offense under rule 12.

In actual fact Costa could have been sent off first.

Using offensive, insulting or abusive language or gestures is a red card offense

The ref did the right thing. Caution.

Since it was obviously the result of offensive and unsporting behaviour from Costa

Love the guy but he's stinking this season. I could understand it if we're getting battered and he's pulling off save after save but i think he's made one save this season yet pulled the ball out the net ten times. Just doesnt have those reactions which made him a good keeper any more.
