Hero to villain in 3 days, but why can our defence not cope with a long punt into our penalty area? its happened today it happened v Leicester, Howard was at fault for the first and the 2nd goal today his attempt to catch the cross was a joke - needs competition - as too we need cover at Right back as good as Stones was there today he was missed in the centre of defence Howard is just a shot stopper -
he does not command his area , and age is not on his side!

Considering Howard gets slated so much for punching rather than catching...Im wondering why he didnt punch away the 2nd goal? It was a routine easy catch and 99% of keepers would have caught it absolute no trouble, and it was exactly the kind of situation Howard usually comes out and punches at. Id love to know what the hell he was thinking. Dreadful today, just dont trust our defence at all any more when Stones isnt playing centre half.

Went right through his hands mate onto the players bonce. The kind of thing you see a 5 year old kid do cos he's scared he might take a little knock from the lad who is 6 years old.

Personally don't think he is particularly commanding. Very good shot stopper though.

That sort of ball should be meat and drink,seems to be symptomatic of the general malaise running right through our back line this term unfortunately.
