That article is spot on, I have before criticised and pointed out before his goal keeping flaws, another N ev he is not or even a Nigel. We do need another GK no doubt of that.

All of you calling for a new goalkeeper need to take a chill pill. Making statements such as "He's no Nev" is complete garbage. The art of the goalkeeper has changed so vastly since Nev's time. Nev was fantastic but the game calls for a much more finessed goalkeeper these days. Tim Howard is one of the top 10 goalkeepers on his day.

Keep in mind that his poor performances over the years have been few and far between. If any of our field players were as consistent as Tim, they'd be immortalized. Goalkeeper is a position in which every mistake or misjudgment is magnified 100x.

Calling for a goalkeeper to be sacked after shipping six goals is nothing but a knee jerk, and it's unappreciative of all the good work Tim does. COYB

....I think Howard's reaction reflects a good team spirit, but Coleman doesn't seem too concerned about what was said. Perhaps Costa said something along the lines of, 'jolly hard luck Seamus, your performance today has been first class'.

I think Eggs it was probably in Spanish and I bet Tim can speak that Lingo.
