Tim Cahill

He's one of those lads, along with Leighton and probably Jagielka, who deserved a trophy with Everton. I've got a lot of time for him. Watch his documentary and he hustled from the bottom. Knew how to play the off the field stuff too, but normally gave his all.

Viva la Timmy.

Go Timmy!!

Cahill was all about desire and determination, we're desperate for that in our squad now.

Coleman has it, but he's injured.
Davies has it too and we miss him whenever he's not in the side. After that...

Rooney maybe?
Vlasic hopefully?

We need more of it.

He left us for his brand, he went to the US for his brand and he went to China for his brand. He's not soft , he's making sure his family is financially sound when he loses his job in a year or two.

I disagree. He’d scored two League goals in the entire season before he left and was quite clearly on a rapid decline.

Going to New York instead of QPR or someone was almost certainly for his brand, but I think he knew he was finished with us in terms of playing every week and contributing regularly.

Just when I thought I could not be more wound up over today’s football that moron Phil Neville steps up.

Him and his brother were on Sky earlier, a programme in Eli h they discussed players they had played with and against.

Phil Neville starts waxing lyrical about Timmy and they show a few goals.

Then he says.....”Tim had the drive of a Manchester United player”......

Sod off, Phil Neville.

I have a tough time seeing how any Evertonian could see what Neville says in the media and like the guy. That's assuming anyone did when he was actually here

That's why we haven't won anything. Our captains think like that. And so does a ginger manager been discussed to come back.

Those two charlatans shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Cahill.
