Just goes to show how the once mighty everton have fallen when people talk about Tim as a great everton player. Yes he gave 100% and at the time he was what we needed. But he was a very average player in a very average team. I feel so sorry for the young uns on this forum when they eulogise about players like Tim. Oh how I long for the good times to come back.

Nonsense! in this era of 'lifelong blues' walking away for an extra few bob, it makes even more sense to eulogise a player who would have taken a pay cut to have been allowed an extra season with us. Tim was limited technically yes, but the Arsenal team is littered with technically superb players, who would pull out of a champions league final if they had a cold!

One of our true heroes, a certain Dave Hickson got by as much on heart as he did talent? Tim Cahill deserves all the plaudits he gets on here!

...my favourite player of the modern era. Played like the game and Everton mattered to him, any opponent came off the pitch knowing they'd been in a match. One of the best value signings in the clubs history.

His last season he was riddled with Injuries and could barely run let alone jump, the Prem was too much for him, you could see it.

Still one of my favourite all time Everton players though along with Duncan, Reid and Latchford.
