Tim Cahill

It was only last season that he was banging them in... Then he went off to the Asian Cup. Talk of selling him seems a little overboard, IMO.

He's the new Gerrard, automatic pick despite bringing nothing to the team for months.

Needs to benched for four or five games, no question.

Barkley needs to come in for him.

Its criminal how long he's been allowed to go without making any impact - never mind a goal.

He's been a liability for far too long.

This. We need a new hero. Thanks for the memories and 04-05 Tim. But you're badly gash these days.

You cant fault Cahill for his effort and love and desire for the club, but he just isnt doing it, he's way out of form and needs benching but Moyes sees him as being important cos he is a worker but for all his hard work, he's not producing the goods and isnt making any sort of impact to the team.

But its not just him, the likes of Saha, Neville and Hibbert need looking at too. There all Moyesies favourites and he needs to stop seeing em like that for the benefit of the team and look to drop em for the likes of Coleman, Barkley, Gueye, Stracq, Vellios and McAleny!.

Blooding more of the youngsters at once cant be any worse than whats in the team and what there producing at the moment surely?!.

Needs to be dropped, he done nothing today, im getting fed up of watching him foul all the time and i think we play better football when he isn't in the team. I'm not sure if he's finished or not but he seems to be getting worse with every game and doesn't contribute anything anymore. Shame the way the past year with him has been, he used to be my first player on the team sheet but i'd like to see him dropped now and someone else given a chance.

Years of the rough stuff are catching up with him, combined with being allowed to try and play his way out of a funk...which he's earned the right to do, IMHO. Personally, I think it's reached the point where he's over-thinking his play because he's at a turning point in his career and he doesn't know which way to go with it.

He's been awful because he's had an injury that's not healed for about a year.

The fact he works hard through the pain week in, week out, rather than doing a Saha and taking 3 weeks off for a dead leg has caught up with him finally.

Leave him out for 3 or 4 weeks and he'll come back like the old Tim Cahill.*

*hopefully.
