i hear you devtoffee one of my all time favs. Alongside Druncan Ferg, peter Reid, Dixie (obviously) Nev Southall (scruffy bugger that he is) Dave Watson, and Brian labone Man Mountain

He's my fave Everton player of all time and it will take some beating replacing him at that. Absolute legend for us. Will be one of the sadddest days in my Everton supporting years, when he eventually leaves.

I think so much of the identity surrounding Moyes' Everton team has revolved around Timmy...will be the end of an era really, even if Moyes were still here.

Would hate that. Could just about live with him returning to Ozz, but not seeing him turn out for any other Prem team than Everton.

1 last chance for him in Europe.

A team that would play to his strengths

But i concur would feel bad seeing him leave but a bid of 3 mill+ would swing it

If he leaves, he will not go to another prem club, it will be back to Aus or nothing. He is too genuinely in love with the club to go to another premier league club.

I too, will be gutted the day the best little Aussie we know leaves Goodison.

He has always been the canine genitilia in the blue shirt,, the ultimate professional who never gives up.

Whatever happens from here on in, Tim Cahill owes us absolutely nothing!

There's a few players who I've always felt were more than worthy to lift a trophy with Everton. I hope and pray it happens for Tim. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy or a truer professional. He's not on the best of form at present but as Raymond077 says, Tim Cahill owes us nothing.

You flamin galah

Nick-off you drongo

I expect him to be our best player after christmas, finish with 10 goals and be our inspiration on a season-saving cup run. Then the season after, (201-2013) he will return to Oz, set up some football foundation, inspire them to another world cup in 2016 before retiring a hero and legend

An unofficial Everton facebook page claims that Cahill "discussed Prem League return with various clubs but ultimately it had to be Everton or nothing".

Love Tim Cahill. Won't let the last year sour my memories. I would still welcome him back, he would be better coming off the bench than Vellios or Gueye ffs
