Tim Cahill

True.
Based on what?
Yeah, as he's the Qatar head of football sportswashing.
He's done them tbh, apparently has the UEFA Pro, which is the highest one you can get.
Very much so.

He'll make a great addition to the "jobs for the boys FC" roster.

Roster you say?

He was a top snide, loved it.

But thing is that snide attitude has continued with the Qatari sportswashing role. Not so good now though is it?

Nothing sentimental about it. Not sure why the Kenwright mention.
Qualified in many areas to be part of the football Club.
Based on what? He sold himself out to the Qatar sportswashing moneymaking machine at the first opportunity, praising them at every turn so much that even the Australian FA had to tell him to stop and has only been involved with either the Qatar state or some shady agents like Kia Jorobchian (or however you spell it). He's made good money from businesses too, but none of those things are good for a football club in our predicament.

The sentimentality about it is the same that kept pretty much every good ex player as a highly paid coach/boardroom member despite them doing nothing productive. Unsworth is an atrocious manager, yet was kept for ages as he was winning with the U23 (????). Sharp was (or still is, unsure) a "boardroom" member in Kenwright's clique, we had Dunc as a coach for way too long too imho, currently Baines is doing mediocre with the U18 development, but I that's down to many factors and winning there doesn't necessarily mean anything, etc. We have to get results and people good at their jobs, not our favourite players back in is my point.

…..probably my favourite player of the modern era. Opposition feared him and he often scored in the big games against the best teams. Lots of our forwards are content getting their heads to the ball but Cahill had that prodigious leap and controlled his headers.

He was incredibly combative given his frame and it takes hard work to keep hitting the penalty area like he did. What a player.
Such a bargain buy too - he & Arteta great buys & great players for us ...

Pienaar, him, Arteta, Tim Howard and Lescott must've cost about 20m in total. Even by mid 2000s standard that was a ridiculous set of bargains for the quality and service they all gave.

Jags and Baines more pricey but again longevity and top quality once they both settled in.
