Always said id hate him to go but everyone has too sometime an hes getting older now , love cahill to me hes up there with big dunc an that legend , be sad to see him leave but hes getting older and not as good as he was , hes a top guy too all the things he does outside football , charity things / gives free tickets .. Helps people out an that if anyone deserves money its him an he could of probly went to a bigger club when he was banging them in but never moaned loyal an that . as if he is going to leave and live their with with his wife and kids, He has 2 years remaining here on high wages, he will see that through and then play in australia
 
If Moyes is serious about making moves early and freshining the squad up he should make this move happen, Cahill has been a wonderful player, his performance against Portsmouth at home when we won 3-1 was one of my favourite amongst the Moyes era, but time to move the team on. In all honesty though cant see Moyes selling one of his favourites unless he is forced to do so.
 

I think we should cash in because he wants to retire in Australia anyways and i think we could get more money from one of the chinese or middle eastern clubs.
 
We could also sell the Dixie Dean statue out the front & see how much we get for that...it's all about the money right?
