Looks like Hull are looking to get Vic for £4m. Should he be allowed to leave? I know he got us some important European goals but, personally, I'd take the money and use it as part of the payment to get Moutinho (y)

If he left I would wish him better than Jaffa Brown to be honest.

He deserves someone that can bring him on if he isn't staying at Everton.

I can see him just rotting away at Hull.

I like Victor Anichebe but 4 million is a good price for a player of his quality. It could be useful.

Saying that though I'd much rather we built on what we already have. Castillo, Jo, Van der Meyde, Valente and possibly Jacobsen will all be leaving in the summer.

I hate to see any Everton player leave. I don't see him ever becoming a good premiership striker, but Moyes has found ways to use him effectively at times. I suppose it depends on how much of the fee would be added to our transfer budget, how confident we are that Yakubu, Vaughan and Saha will maintain their fitness next year, how close Jose Baxter is to becoming a force in the first team and whether it will be as a striker when he does.

Hmm. I think we should probably take it if Hull do make such an offer.

He played 22 times this season, which is more than VDM, Castillo and Jacobsen combined. He may not be a first team regular but I don't think we can cull squad players for the sake of it.
