I would expect that it's all down to a combination of ensuring fan safety (crushes) and also actually stopping the prospect of any long queues.Thing is fans used to use the same gate wherever they sit.years ago the first turnstiles coming from the church to gladlys street was the busiest , and if it's lashing first turnstile.
Why change there's only segregated areas in the bullens/main stand if I recall
For if people actually use their correct turnstiles, then queues should be less as there'll be a set number going through each gate pre-match.
People using the closest turnstile to their seat or from where they're travelling from messes up that quota and then you'll get queues or crushes.
I'm in the Street End and my turnstiles are 29 onwards yet I come from City Road, hence they're further away. Yet I breeze in each time!
