Ticketing Mess

Never realised could get in using "wrong" turnstile.
This isn't difficult, turn up in good time (2.55 is not on time) and use the turnstile written on the card.
Don't get what the problem is.

It's not really a major issue, but when you've been turning up at 2:55 for years for a 3 o'clock start without any problems then 2:55 is on time though.

My first trip to Goodison for a few years. No problem with the ticket at all. Went through the right turnstile, straight in, no hassle.

I turned up more than ten minutes before kick off and still missed the first few minutes as the queue was so big. The new system isn't as efficient as it should be. Plenty more were affected, so it's the system rather than fans turning up with insuffient time.

Loads of wools having a go at match going fans. I saw the game better than you. You should be not allowed to post comment on the game until 24 hours after the full time whistle so the real fans can post their superior assessment.

Not even going to go there on this post.

:dodgy:

Mate we'll have to agree to disagree re 2.55
But you're missing out on the superb pre- match entertainment and quality and excellent value refreshments at GP...
Royal Oak it is then.
Semi serious point really is the club missing out on millions more pounds we'd happily spend at GP of the facilities and offering was better.
Cheers

I got in the ground about 15 to.

No problems although the club could of helped matters by PREWARNING people of the new ticketing system on the gates.

It was busy and people were getting in late.

First game problems.

Haha.

I'm a wool mate, so have a long and perilous journey to get to Goodison and normally arrive about ten to.

In previous seasons, if my train was late or I was slow finishing a pint and got there with only a few minutes to spare, I'd have just used the nearest turnstile, so at least I've learnt that's not an option any more !

Bigger delay than I've seen in a long time yesterday, and the only game in three years someone has actually been on a turnstyle but also seen adults getting ST taken off them for trying to get in with kids tickets.

Ahhh...so that's the reason for the different pictures on the back of the cards! Nice work Everton! ;)

I was outside the Bullens and missed the goal, I was told the delays were all barcode related and mainly affected people with paper tickets.....which I didn't believe..
If honest it was an improvement on last year when the club decided to sell my seat for the day and blocked my entry into the ground with my season ticket.

I got in okay, Upper Bullens, but I was unhappy with my season Ticket, it had a photo of Howard Kendall on the back, I
didn't mind Howard but I wanted a photo of Davie Hickson on my ticket, do you think Everton will change it if I ask them nicely?
