I understand the need for all parties to make a few bob on the back of this, but when you compare it to the NY Cosmos ST prices, it's a joke.

I looked into getting over to NY for their inaugural game. Alas, the money was too much of a stretch on such short notice.

It isn't cheap I agree but for the four games it is a good price, if we see efc vs galaxy, the Milan derby, chelsea vs real ( the morinho derby) Juve vs. Valencia it's worth 80 quid don't you think... And why would you be so pig headed to not go to the other games, have a beer and just enjoy the warm Miami weather... It's a money maker, we might sell some shirts and for us ex pats in the sun it's a great thing.. Be happy for us!

Mate - I am happy for us (us = the club) and the US Blues. We've done great to get in a tournament with such high profile clubs.
I'm really looking forward to the trip and the games and I'm not being "pig headed".
Regardless of the opposition, a pre-season friendly is a pre-season friendly and as much as I love football, I couldn't take four of these games in just over twenty four hours.
Apart from that, I'm bringing my wife and believe it's pretty decent of her to put up with three days footy in eleven days of our main holiday. So we'll probably have a beer and enjoy the Miami weather - but somewhere other than the stadium on the day the Blues aren't playing.
