Threat of villa

Anybody else with a wry smile and hint of sadness when they subbed Onana for Barkley in the last 5 minutes?

2 players who could have made us better if used correctly under different circumstances.

In my mind Onana was a successful signing, came in and was a good player, sold for a very good profit. If he stays fit he'll kick on into a top player, but it's still an example of good recruitment.

Ross should have been so much more, I imagine he regrets it more than we do though.

We could have been lining up at BMD next season with Onana and Branthwaite down the spine of the team. Probably lose the latter as well to balance the books for ffp.

Richarlison came on about the same time for spurs as well.

Was like a football version of a Christmas carol with 3 ghosts of Goodison past.

Nope, Onana was too busy telling the crowd they weren't cheering enough to play consistently well and we all know what Barkley did. No regrets there, although Mykolenko makes me regret selling Digne.

I hate them too but I am jealous of them now.

Great manager, excellent squad, spend well, loads of assets to sell if they need to, regular European football now too
I’d rather it be any club but them, mainly because they’re as successful or being real more successful than us so they have surpassed us now sadly, just have to accept it we’re not the biggest outside the “big six” anymore.

Mate who's a Villa fan reckons they will need to sell for PSR.

Mad how they can get so far in the Champions League, qualify again (probably) but are close to breaking rules but the likes of Chelsea and Utd will just get away with whatever.
It's why all sides in the PL are looking at expanding the stadia. More seats, more corporate, more opportunity to find a way to expand the revenue stream. city can't find (fans) let alone fill their ground, but expanding it means they can fabricate a few more quid through the door. It's a con. At least they're doing it with some other countries money, jimmy ratcliffe wants finance out of the tax payers of the uk, the cheeky puce faced tory buffoon.

It's hard to get thoughts through the brick wall of his skull tho, so I doubt it.
