Got Brentford promoted in his 2nd season and gone from strength to strength the seasons following with a squad of largely Championship players.

Lampard has been here nearly a full season, signed 8 players and we look little better than when he took over and have won 2 in our last 12 (the previous manager was sacked for 1 win in 14).

This would carry more weight if you didn’t always talk junk about Potter, who consolidated Brighton and gradually improved them all within a tight budget before getting a chance at Chelsea

My fav player of the weekend is Danny Ings. My boy is autistic so I was delighted to see Danny do this.

Danny walked out with his mascot Riley Regan, who is autistic. Riley wears defenders to block out noise as a lot of people with autism do. Danny chose to wear them as well to support Riley. Top man Danny, full credit to you. Helping to break stigma.

Never minded Ings, apart from every time he played us! Always seemed like a decent bloke.

Emery would be a great appointment, very good manager - I’m sure Villa must be approaching some sort of FFP breach though? Or did that Grealish deal literally give them a carte blanche for the next few years?
