We went through similar with my dad a few years ago. The care he got was outstanding and he has made an excellent recovery leading a busy and active life for someone of 70+. The only difficulty he has is having to put up having to go watch this abysmal Everton team.

Hopefully there are better and happy days ahead for you both and all your family.
