Dave, im as optimistic as ever mate, im not even worried if we dont sign someone before Sat and i think its possible we wont!

I can think of many permatations of how id put out the team i would be very confident about beating Blackburn. Lets put it this way ive seen worse Everton teams and been faced with worse circumctances then whats currently facing us.

What saddens me is a lack of faith in our manager and players on the playing side, i can understand the frustration with the Boared but dont neccecarily agree with it!

What i am pleased about is the quality of the player we are lookng to sign Mouthnio, Love, Mbia and i imagine some that are not even on our radar. If it takes that long to get the right players ill wait and in many ways am happy that the manager and the chairmen have the nerve to do same. Nil Satis....

So keep shouting for somebody or anybody and youl get your Kilbanes, Davies etc, but im sorry thats not how i see things, i expect, know and beleive there will be better!

Its easy to be a sheep but more difficult to be a shepard!

I understand you when you say you've seen worse times at EFC, most of us have. But I feel we have the right to leave the dark days of Wimbledon and Coventry and last chance saloons in the past and not keep using them as a benchmark for the present. I agree with you, we WILL get a player or two in, but it's too little too late to progress the club forward this season. I have great faith in the manager but not in the Chairman and his board of directors.

Much as the situation sucks people need to be lifted and that is my intention. Either that or focus on crying about things that I can not do anything about. I can show frustrations and that is because I am frustrated but I will still be a blue at the end of the day, and if I choose to try to be happy then that is my decision.

Can I stop watching the space like Bill advised,just cant believe that not one player is signed I am getting really worried another injury in mid field or attack and we are in the mire good style. It looks like there is no rabbit out the hat trick this time which is not right but if thats the case the club should come clean,I will support them who ever we have playing but dont like searching every couple of hours in the remote chance we have got someone so please Bill if we have not got the cash for our targets then I understand and dont want panic buys just some honesty.

Amen to that. Part of the frustration is being treated like complete fools. If there's nothing in the pot and we have to concentrate on bringing kids through with one or maybe two more squad players to add to the very good core we have, then so be it. We wont like it and it'll be a missed opportunity, but at least the spin machine would be placed in mothballs and we could all concentrate on thing on the pitch until January's window opened. You've hit the nail on the head there, coyney: it's just a basic lack of honesty and integrity of these people that gets everyone down.
