But does that think equal 'know without a shadow of a doubt' or 'feel strongly'. Because even if it's somewhere inbetween the two then look at the Peter Sullivan case and someone getting 38 years in prison because of such a trap.
But as per the article quoted in @mightymoyes 's post - there's reason it should be challenged.

Flawed statistical evidence. It has happened before and in the fairly recent past. I don’t know whether Letby is guilty or not but if evidence used to convict her is being held to be unreliable by those who are expert in the field then it should be held to account imo.

Could as easily be for letting Letby continue working on the ward as anything else. Guess we'll find out.
So reads like it’s about their inaction in allowing the circumstances around Letby’s convictions to occur or go unchallenged…… no effect on her convictions at present.
….yep, it’ll be gross negligence. Quite right too.
