This is relegation form

Yes I am concerned, not because we've had a run of bad results (which pretty much every team has at some point), but because of the abject displays, lack of threat on opposition goals and seemingly no plan whatsoever.

We're not waiting for players to gel (they're pros who have been playing together long enough and train together every day), we're hoping we stumble on to a formation that works and that Sandro can start scoring every game.

We have played Stoke and thereafter three of the very best teams in the league. We are poor but get some perspective, if we haven't won a few games by mid November then you may have a point.

We were lucky against Stoke to get the 3 points.

To get some perspective, Burnley have played away against Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool and got 5 points.

We managed one shot on target against Spurs and Chelsea.

Mate after today's game it will be bedlam in here Koeman out etc, then we will play awful wed, maybe scrape a 1-0 win. Then after Bournemouth next week it will start to hit home. This team is in trouble

Selling your best striker, kone and Valencia and not replacing them is a shambles.

I mentioned the other two because they would be a decent option right now

We even loaned out the one striker we did buy, that Henry fellow.

How Everton is that

And Burnley is the beast that dare not speak its name.

Even Swansea went and drew with Spurs......yet our disgusting cave in last week was written off because we cannot hope to compete with Spurs, one the best "2 or 3 teams in the league", as I was informed by one flat earther

Not to worry.....the easy matches start next week

Whoopee Doo.....I would not bet my pocket money on us beating Burnley week after next :hayee:

GoT should start a flat earth society. Tbf, I would join. The way we are playing is a shambles.

Love it

Complacency rules OK among far too many on here.

Those nice Southern Softies from down t'south coast are just going to roll over for us next week when the season starts ;)

Then the tactically inept Sean Dyche will see his away bubble burst this day fortnight, don't worry 'bout that :pint2:

Yay...the future's so bright I gotta wear

That's not perspective, it's selective. We could've beaten City, who are arguably the best team by a stretch, but if we had I wouldn't be hanging out the bunting. We are poor but we have some top players who need to gel and we are short in one or two areas. To talk of relegation is as stupid as talking CL if we grab a win today, give them a chance.

We hung on against 10 men, its not being selective.

We have been absolute garbarge, toothless and lack any cohension.

Four points from our first four games after having played three of the likely top five and already the "R" word has appeared.

FFS, get a grip. You're a grown up. (Presumably).

You, like a lot on here mate are always missing the point, we know we've had a really crappy run of games to start with, and it was always going to be difficult, but it's the cowardly, abject, passionless performances that are the problem.

I can take the defeats, but not the manner of those defeats.

Obviously it is relegation form
But we new these games would be tough
We expected 3 points v stoke and scraps off the next games
But as mentioned many times our play looks inept and devoid of ideas
It'll will pick up shortly but just now it is relegation form

Completely agree that the performances have been utter crap. But insinuating relegation after four league games just because we've averaged only a point a game is beyond ridiculous.
