It's part of our masterplan to become small and irrelevant. Then when we do win the league, we'll usurp Leicester as the most meaningless club ever to win the FA Carling Premiership.

Well job half done. We have brilliantly managed to become small and irrelevant. Now the winning the Premiership bit.

too early to be positive yet, give me until August please.
I'm fortunate, i'm an old fart who has seen 4 league titles, 3 FA Cups and a European trophy, Anfield on Wednesday nearly sent me over the edge.

It's crap, over two decades since we won a trophy.

But, I wouldn't change it for the world. When we win something I'll celebrate like it's 1999 and I can't wait.

In the meantime, suck it up and get on with it because that's what we do.

What's our name???

Well said although i think it's important to emphasise that most of us will not suck it up and get on with it if Martinez is still our manager.Blindly accepting failure and mediocrity is not what we do either.Striving to be the best is what Everton do.;)

Much as I am totally numb and indifferent right now, I can't wait for August and the start of the Moshiri era at RpEverton ;)

Everton proving yet again that whatever the game, whatever the situation, they will find a new and unique way to get our hopes up and lose!
Especially at Wembley

Yes and we grew up in an age when Liverpool not only won the league every year but usually the league cup or European Cup!! At least they have won only one poxy league cup on pens v a lower division team in the last ten years. Hardly a conveyor belt of success filling the Anfield cupboards. ( hoping Villareal stuff them in the Europa)

I love the club to bits but it's been hard this week.

That drubbing at Anfield, followed by another failure to win a trophy. I guess it's a good job I'm not in it for the glory!
