Things you regret

Actually have one thing that I regret from when I was about 12 or 13, still makes me feel like crap to this day.

Was going to the Everton v Blackburn game with me Dad (lost 1-2), just paying in on the gate as you could back then. All morning he was buzzing as it was before we had season tickets. Had hat on and everything, singing songs around the house. Dad and lad going the game.

Anyway, around 2pm a load of me mates knocked and asked if I wanted to go with them. Said yep, went in and told me Dad and he OK'd it but looked gutted, he never went the game. As I was walking down the street with me mates I felt guilt and wanted to go back to go with me Dad but you don't when your 13.

Since then we have been loads of times together but that still bloody haunts me haha.

Well that ending is good news. Not wanting to be morbid, but I was reading that expecting the inevitable last line "he passed away the following day".

You were still a little tit doing that to him like.

A lot tbh. Always 2nd guessed myself, hesitated, and didn't take advantage of various opportunities in my education and relationships (sometimes lack there of haha)

Plenty. But I wouldn't change anything.

As Bill Hicks said "it`s just a ride". Some things i`ve done still make me cringe but mistakes in the past inform the life i lead today and as it stands life is pretty good.

pretty much my philosophy too...if i change something negative the ol' ying/yang of life might put me somewhere very different to where i am now...maybe better, maybe worse, but i wouldn't wanna take the risk if there was no reset button.

That's a tough miss!
Yep. Rotterdam was tricky because would not have got time off work officially. Major ramifications to have bunked off so fates conspired a bit against me on that one but Bayern at home was silly combo of travel from London, cost when broke, work issues. Stupid decision.
