-Barkley has had to be put down
-lukaku was a waste of £200m and will send the club into administration
-besic should be in prison for murder
-we need more depth to properly prepare for life in the championship

I think this post adequately says what has happened yesterday to EFC. Over and out.

do not follow the match day thread,I should be made to write it one hundred times if ever I venture into it during a match,I know it myself.

will buy my season ticket for Young Munster for the new season, yes, watching egg chasers on a Saturday afternoon is better than following the match day thread !.

- Everton squad to head the new Avengers movie.
- McGeady as Hawkeye, thanks to his expert sniping skills.
- McCarthy as Wolverine, after miraculous recovery after his leg was chopped off.*
- Naismith as Quicksilver, he was everywhere.
- Pienaar as Nick Fury, generally Boss.

5-star movie, pity it flagged after Intermission. Needed more heroes in the cast.

*yeah yeah, not an Avenger, sue me...

I was playing in a bowls match (I know, I know, but the bowls' season ends in a few weeks) and kept checking the score.

One thing I've learned is I was right to dump BT Infinity Broadband and get Sky Fibre instead for new season's match links (y)

- Lukaku was a total waste of £28m
- Barkley is out for at least 5 months, he'll never be the same player
- Besic should hang his head in shame for putting Barkley out for months as it was defo him
- Our season is basically over

Anything i've missed ?

Yes, we are going to win the FA Cup. We are going to win the Euro Cup. We going to be in Europe next next year, we will end with more points than last season, have I missed anything out?

This preseason they kow towed to Chang and made a special one off journey half way around the world to play...Leicester!

If Martinez had chosen the opposition we played to just pile in youngsters and give them 4 straight games against decent opposition and gave the established members of the squad intense pre-season training with a match sharpener before the season started, that'd have been more fruitful and I could see the logic in it.

From the outside the preparation looked very ad hoc and very lax. I know Martinez did his WC telly duties well, but I dont think he's prepared us very well for the start of the season.

Chers Dave, that is what I questioned esle where about our pre sesaon prep.
