Just can’t fathom a millionaire striker that has never ever been told how to make runs. Any runs. Stands around waiting for a ball passed at him. No interest whatsoever in pulling defenders around or offering a run into space. Totally bizarre.

Can only be a striker like that if you are one of those that gets one chance late in the game and reliably buries it. He got his chance and headed it into an unsuspecting opponent.

Have to assume he deliberately ignores instructions and directions coz he’s got the hump. He can’t be that bad. He can’t think in “the best league in the wurrrrld” playing for one of the planets most historic teams that you can just plod about.

Ultra unlikeable player. Didn’t have to be that way.
