He’s absolutely garbage let’s stop making excuses for him. Awful striker.

He makes no effort to get ahead/infront/across his man.
There's minimal effort off the ball, no running to stretch play - centre backs have their easiest game of the season against him.
Moyes isn't the best with centre forwards, particularly those who haven't proven it in the Prem but I'd find it hard to believe he's being instructed to play that way.
He's regressed a bit. Earlier in the season he was making runs off the ball, but the team didn't try to find him and he's either been coached not to make those runs, or realised the runs are pointless as no one is going to pass to him anyway. Technically he's not up to standard. I do feel there is a player in there somewhere, but no striker looks good in a Moyes team.
In terms of strikers alone, it seems to be a dying art of strikers trying to get in front of a man at crosses and things these days. Strikers used to be the sharpest players on the pitch, but now they're mostly big strong athletes.
Find it hard to defend the lad, after i decided i want Everton to spend £70 mill on Thiago at Brentford.
We currently have one way of playing, move the ball out to the left and hope Grealish can do something, that’s it.
There’s not one striker in the world that would thrive in our system.
If you watched the game properly, you’d have seen a totally isolated Barry for nearly the whole match, normally with at least two players behind him.
I’m not saying he’s a great striker by the way, I’m just pointing out, that no striker would’ve done any better with the total lack of service he got last night.
Until Beto'sCommentators - worst penalty they have ever seen![]()
He’s useless and lazy at least Beto is useless and puts himself about.Thought he did less work and had less impact than Beto after coming on, even though he was the fresh legs it looked the other way around
