Tall, cumbersome, lacks instinct isn’t clinical. What something that shouldn’t be pursued seems to be a requisite in our recruitment policy since Lukaku left. That or the typical “he will have to do” types we are so guilty of with the likes Broja and the Crowning Turd in the water pipe from Brighton especially added to the mix.

We all want the lad to do well and be a success but you have to be honest as well. Personally im not seeing why he was signed in the first place. I wasn’t enamoured with what I saw from when he was at Villarreal either.

Hope he turns it around and is brilliant in the long run but a decent forward has to be a priority along with right and left back.

….i don’t know the answer to this but are many PL teams playing with a regular striker from their Academy?

I suppose you could ask is Barry better than Ellis Simms who was produced by us but we moved him on.

Barry is in now not better than Simms. Simms was sold cos we needed the money too though.
