2025/26 Thierno Barry

It's December and we're still waiting on the first goal for our £30m signing. I understand why we cling to the fact he's contributed a few times with decent hold up play, but it's been nowhere near good enough.
There's simply no dressing it up. Our summer window has been a disaster. Grealish has played well overall - and Dewsbury-Hall has done likewise when not played out of position. Every other signing - right now - has failed to make any sort of impact whatsoever. There is no dressing up how disappointing that is.

I didn’t say it was. But we have no one better, Ndiaye should get a shot there. It’s not like we’re crossing the ball anyway.

No it hasn't. It's been far from perfect but positive if anything. And we will improve each window. We were never going to go from relegation to Europe in one window. Tonight was really bad but we are heading in the right direction

Our recruitment has been woeful for years. Makes you fear there's something dodgy going on.

When was the last time we got a player from overseas who has been a success? Maybe Miko?

I'd stick to buying players that have done the business here.

Branthwaite has shown what can happen by buying someone from a lower league. Lose the snobbery.

If Myko is the barometer for success abroad, I'd stick to the Granada region...
