To be fair, I’m not sure we’ve had a competent start from a striker all season long. Tough to remember what it looks like.
 

Got a great reception when he came off so the crowd want him to succeed desperately.

Is far more involved in the general moves which is promising sign. Had a nice run down the left before he seemingly hurt his shoulder.

I don't think that first goal is far away at all. Will get chances on the counter against some of the opponents after the next break so hopefully he can take one and then he's off and running.
 

Thought he looked a much different player today. Some beautiful first touch passes that brought Ili into the game, had a tough battle with Bassey and was coming out on top, also looks like he has a nice set of skills that set him apart. I think I may have been too quick to write him off as I genuinely see he's progressing well.

Just hope he can grab a goal if he keeps up performances like that.
 
Seriously seen it in other places as well saying great game. Are we honestly calling that performance a great game or even a good game for that matter at best I’d say he was OK. We’re honestly pathetic settling for oh he’s better than him or better than what we’ve got when sometimes the bar is so low. Again he did OK today but miles off being anything else and at this point would be disappointed if he’s leading the line all season.
 

Decent game, linked up well and constantly on the move.

Green shoots and all that. Said it before but I'd start him from now till January. We control the ball better with him leading the line.
