Only 2 signings in the Summer have improved us from last season, and one of them is a loan. Considering it's the ACON this season, it's a huge balls up that will show in time.

Given his terrible start I think it's now down to 10-15% so there's an 85-90% chance he'll be gone within 1-2 years. I hope he somehow beats those odds.

He was actually mentioned as being one of the better headers of the ball, he is playing like he is wearing diving boots. I hope he comes good I really do (We need him too), just seems a very frustrated figure and lacking confidence.

Why it would do him good to build his confidence up - he looks inept in the first team that is not doing us or him any good is it ,,,

Always find it hard to imagine that is some physical fault with a player who has already come this far. Confidence or speed / experience of the PL ?
He looks no where near Prem level as yet ....
On the one hand - yeah, sure, true.
On the other - not everyone adapts to foreign cultures easily or the same, and Britain is quite odd compared to mainland Europe. I was very okay with it, you were too as IIRC you're abroad as well, but I have friends/acquaintances who never settled or took actual years until they were even remotely comfortable, even with family around.
Doubt he's not expected it, his highlight reel showed some good movement/teamplay as well. Maybe it's the physicality and the league itself he's still getting used to, hopefully he steps up a bit more tbh. I'd be okay with him being slow on the development if we had another option, but we really kind of don't

Spanish football isn't the soft touch some see it as,it's not the lads fault that he's being asked to play the type of game that he hasn't encountered before. So a lot of the fault is with the manager and recruitment staff. But surely by now someone (Moyes or Coleman) could have taken him to one side and told him the way to get the support behind you is to show initiative and start pressing defenders and use your physicality.
