And……He played 21 minutes pal.
100%. He, like Beto and at least a dozen before them, will both end up £25m plus signings who ultimately walk away for free because we won't be able to sell them.Be on loan in turkey this time next year
He just doesn't look up to much yet at all unfortunately.
I said in the Beto thread that I do think there's a bit of a chicken and the egg thing happening here.
Yes the strikers aren't great but we haven't made loads of chances for anyone, it doesn't matter who's starting.
I do wonder if this has something to do with the attackers or whatever we bother doing in training. It’s not just about scoring for me. Neither of them can hold the ball up or link with our attackers.
He has to get at least a run of games as beto ain't getting any better

Yes, they both have limitations but we can certainly make them look more effective than this I hope.
He's pretty much 23, yes he's come to a new country, but I think we need to drop his age being an excuse going forward.Needs to make more runs. Looks off the pace. I'm sure he's a better footballer than Beto (I'd control the ball better than Beto), but looks scared. Difficult as he's young, but we need a striker for now.
I just can't work out how we got 8 league goals from Beto last year and now we can't get our strikers more than ten touches of the ball.I just don’t think their quality is up to it. The ball Garner played first half down the centre half Beto got and fluffed is what both of them want, which we don’t do enough.
But our 3 behind are all very neat and clever and are ruined by not having a striker to join in.
With better wide and central attacking players too... BizarreI just can't work out how we got 8 league goals from Beto last year and now we can't get our strikers more than ten touches of the ball.
