He didn’t really do anything right? Except run after a ball that one time. Both him and Beto had a moment each where they could have checked their runs and anticipated a cut back. Instead they look confused how the ball didn’t get to them through about 3-4 defenders.

Needs to make more runs. Looks off the pace. I'm sure he's a better footballer than Beto (I'd control the ball better than Beto), but looks scared. Difficult as he's young, but we need a striker for now.

I said in the Beto thread that I do think there's a bit of a chicken and the egg thing happening here.

Yes the strikers aren't great but we haven't made loads of chances for anyone, it doesn't matter who's starting.
