2025/26 Thierno Barry

Today’s lost points is 100% on his finishing. But what’s really, really bad is his lack of ability to hold on to the ball. It’s lost 19 out of 20. That was plain to see after ther first couple of matches. It can’t be tought if you don’t know how to do this by the time you are 20. I have never seen a striker so poor in this area in any other top 20 leagues in Europe. How this was not spotted by any scouts is just baffling.

Awful, awful player.

Can’t have any complaints when he’s actually getting chances.

Scored a few now and thought he may turn a corner, but so did Beto last year.

Once again, a new player that from minute anyone can see looks to have really poor technical ability. But we hope, and say they need to settle, get used to the speed of the league. Lo and behold, first impressions as always are correct and they are just really really bad. Exactly as everyone’s eyes and brain could see immediately.

There is just no way to survive in the PL without excellent basic skills. It has to be a minimum. Raw just means crap.

Will probably get pelters for this as he missed a sitter and generally had a bad game...

But our play in the final third goes all over the place when he comes off.

The little bounce passes and one-two's that Beto can't do at all are crucial part of us moving the ball quickly and making space for our wide players.

Our play in all the final third is really poor with Barry on the pitch. Both him and Beto are nowhere near good enough. Relegation level strike force.
