He hadn't played poorly though really had he. It's been a tight game against a good team and he was competing well up top in the air, winning some flicks, think he even got the one first 12seconds for Rohl chance. He wasn't having a worldie game, but he also wasn't playing "poorly".

Have to disagree there James. His movement up front needs a lot of improvement. Still may be the match winner though which is all that matters

Worked hard again. It’s a thankless job being the lone striker. But won an incredible amount of aerials. And took his goal excellently. Definitely knows how to finish despite what his naysayers who watched a few YouTube clips think

Said at half time he was alright when involved in the single touch stuff, obviously it's hard to always play to that nature but think that's the way to play to him

I liked how he chased their defenders, an aimless long ball turned into a good position for a throw in thanks to him not giving up and putting pressure on the defender. Good stuff.
