The best thing for the club is to keep playing him, not buy anyone or waste our time with Toney or whatever, and see where it takes us. Hes getting to the right spots. Today it finally went in. I think it’ll keep happening.

….he knows what he’s doing, Matey. Interesting he told MOTD, he gets replaced if he’s not scoring.

The Moyes critics have a go that he’s happy with mediocrity, can’t then criticise him for wanting more from a key position.

We are going to need at least another 10 goals from a striker, along with the Midfielders chipping in the way they have been, is there another 10 or more in Barry? Tough next 4 games brings us to the end of this year, if we are still there in the European spots it would be very irresponsible of the club not to take the oppertunity.

Buzzing he finally got his goal, but he needs to stay on his feet and to stay onside a bit more.

The post match Newcastle comments were clearly meant to motivate the players. Given how motivated and pumped up we are this season, Moyes is clearly pushing the right buttons behind the scenes.

Took his goal well there. Actually not as good in the rest of his game as he has been, looked weaker and was constantly offside. Some nice touches on the ground however.

Ovation from the entire crowd today, so the support has been there and is as relieved as he is to get on the scorer list. Has worked a lot harder recently, so maybe it was getting used to the ferocity and work rate required in this league. Didn't stutter with the finish, was cool and made sure.
Keeper was keen like, thought there was gonna be amputations everywhere the speed he flew out.
