His first touch is decent.

Apart from that theres not been much else on show. Just hoping after a goal or two he loosens up and is able to start to play a bit.

No, I think these were when he played consecutive matches mate. He definitely had 2 real long runs of games without scoring under Dyche.

People just being impatient and feeling the need to make a definitive statement on the quality of a striker who's still finding his feet in the league.

Not enough to say either way right now if he will definitely make the grade or not. Understand the striker position at Everton is a bit of a sensitive subject due to the succession of poor 9's we've had since Rom. Countless examples of strikers who take time to adapt and find their confidence in England though.

What I will say is that despite not scoring yesterday he had a much bigger impact on the game than Kroupi, who's rightly highly rated but couldn't get into the game at all.

But Kroupi has 4 or 5 goals to his name. Same new country. Same new league. Argument is flawed. And I dont think its impatience to expect your strikers to score goals/get shots on target.
