Who is going to feed those players though?
None are likely to win long punts from Pickford, and perhaps Garner is the only other player who can pick a pass.

Those are our three players most likely to create a goal, but they're also the three who can take the ball from someone in our own half and make something happen in the final third.

Ideally I'd have Garner playing forward passes; Rohl, who can carry the ball forward and link up with the three forwards; Gueye just in behind those two.

I think its unfair to write him off so soon, but i agree - the early signs are not looking exactly promising, but he may just need a few months to find his feet in a very tough league, the PL is the hardest league in the world, and striking is arguably the hardest position to master.

I do think its time to shoot Beto out of a cannon though, i love my king, but he will only succeed in a league where defenders arent as fast and as strong, hes no where near premier league quality. What worries me is how chronically bad our scouting seems to be, it can't be just a couple of fellers and a spreadsheet saying 'yeah he looks sound, bag this lad', can it?

He offered a lot more than a fresh Beto did when he came on but it could be game state too.
Hopefully he starts again and Moyes doesn't do his roulette which clearly seems to be harming both strikers' confidence
