How many chances do you give him tho? That miss has got nothing to do with adapting to a new league and neither does him looking lost with the ball at his feet or the heavy touch setting to shoot poor showing this half.

There’s been plenty of young players who come here to the prem and struggle for months, even a whole season.

Will correctly get hooked at half time. Shouldn't even be in the squad next week, yet will be. Unfortunately the manager will make the wrong decision and go like for like with the similarly useless Beto when he knows there are better options.

He was alright for the first 15 mins or so today and then got steadily worse. I'm not sure he's cut out for the PL, games catch up with him then pass him by.

He’s making runs and winning headers when we’re lumping it up. The hold up play isn’t terrible

Silly yellow to give away though and he likely won’t see out the second half because of it

A striker can have a drought, but he must keep the head up despite adversity. I'm not seeing enough of that from him right now, and if he doesn't have it then he has no chance.

Spot on. When things don’t go his way, his confidence seems to absolutely drain from him in an instant. Not a great trait as he’ll need a lot of mental minerals.

Has he tried a false nine yet? He's got a £30m player sat on the bench that could slot onto the right hand side and push Ndiaye into the middle where we've just seen he's very comfortable. Why are we wasting our time with strikers who can't score?

We need strikers to be scoring. Let's try a formation with a player there who might threaten to score a goal and not miss pathetic open goals.

Just chill out man. Our fan base need to get behind the lad and stop writing him off before he gets a string of starts.

If you can't see that we play better as a unit with him in the team over Beto then I dunno. At least ball isn't bouncing off Beto's knees back into our defence!

I still think we give Barry 4 or 5 starts in a row and build his confidence tbh.

I actually think until the miss Moyes would have been a little encouraged with the performance today so far

Made his bed and has to lie in it. Doesnt deserve to get hooked half time based on track record but on his first half performance alone, he should be.
