check out Rafael's spending record, he's bought in some pure **** into analfield

Liverpool Echo.co.uk - Liverpool FC - News - Rafael Benitez’s transfer history

That's not what I meant, confused myself.

Basically what I am saying is we don't need to needlessly spend to get top 4. Nobhead has obviously overspent and not really seen a reward yet.

As ive said in another thread, you are on ******* crack.

We need wingers and we need a replacement for Arteta in case he gets injured again. We also need a replacement or a partner for the Yak. Hibbert isnt good enough, no matter how great he has been this season. We also need a replacement for CB. Seems Lescott will be the LB replacement, that would leave us short if Baines and Jags where to get injured.

Winning the title is not something that can be done overnight and no matter how much I love some of the players within the squad, they are lacking and dont have that little bit extra to take us to winning a title.

Now please, jog on.

Crack? me? One position we don't need filling is CB.

GK

Neville - Jagielka - Lescott - Baines

Arteta
Winger - Cahill - Pienaar

Yakubu - Striker

Bench: Howard, Hibbert, Yobo, CM, Osman, Fellaini, Saha,

See how that works, if it fails, bring in Hibbo, push neville in midfield and Cahill further up the pitch.

Fellaini will become CLASS, but we need to play him, people forget how young he actually is and how its his first season in the premiership, i remember when he tore apart the sh-ite when he play for liege, he was only like 19-20 then, he could become phenomenal

Moutinho and some decent squad players should do. It's not as much about how much money we spend, we're skint, it's about how much Moyes can get out of the players available. We have a great manager who seems to be able to get the best out of his squad. A large enough squad, without compromising quality, should see us into the top four or at least give them a real good run for their money. I'm sure we would be there now if we didn't have so many injuries early on.

Yes he may become class, but at the moment Arteta/Cahill are better, so id start them. Obviously that wouldnt be the team every week. Moyes would certainly rest the likes of Arteta and Cahill with the CM, Osman and Fellaini.
