Walcott played half a season under Allardyce and never had Lukaku to partner with. Add that to the fact that Martinez played reckless attacking footy and Delofeu NEVER worked as hard as Walcott does, and your point is pretty moot.

Allardyce footy ? Thats funny, i remember some everton fans comparing his footy to Simeones after we got a draw at Anfield. When did it become a wingers job to "WORK HARD". Last time i checked they where meant to score and create.

Was the last time you checked some time in 1972?

Decent yesterday I thought. I was really pleased that he and Coleman seemed to be linking up much better first half. They'd been getting wound up at each other in the previous two games and clearly weren't on the same wavelength at times.

They're a serious handful when they're on it and linking up properly.

Walcott has ended up on the most goal scoring chances of anybody in the side by far. All of them from the wing- do you think it’s a coincidence? Or maybe he is the most intelligent runner in the side. If he put those chances away, he’d be our leading scorer. Even in poor form, he is always a threat. That is why he is in the side.

No its down to Silva's system. If he was intelligent he would be finishing the countless chances he gets created for him instead off passing it straight to the keeper

Exactly. Walcott is the best we have as an out ball, and the best at finding space behind the full back. He is probably the fastest we have and has a good football brain. Silva realises this and realises what a great asset he is, even when not everything goes right for him.

It’s okay to question Walcott’s form. It’s okay to question if he should be in the team over the others based on said form. If you are trying to argue that he does nothing well and his chances are a result of Silva’s system, you are either being willingly ignorant or something along that line.
