If Silva doesn't bench this moron against Leicester then it'll be decisions like that what will be the beginning of the end for him

Honestly don't even care who he plays instead of him but 100k a week players can't play game after game like that and not suffer the consequences. He's every bit as bad as the like a of schneiderlin for me who have shown they can be useful but just stroll around doing absolutely zero every single game and I'm sick off him getting away with it every single game. Would rather play a kid from the youth and let him do nothing them watch that prick Walcott do it

The comment he made about during his time at Arsenal where he says he lost his love for the game rings true. That is how he mostly looks for us.

Walcott’s ‘falling out of love with the game’ roughly translates as ‘can’t be arsed, don’t need to work, I’ll drift through the next couple of years going through the motions. He’s just an average highly paid footballer with little drive, ambition or motivation.

Those last 3 words is where you hit the nail on the head.

Walcott isn’t getting any better and like a lot of posts have alluded too does he have the hunger to get any better I highly doubt it ,arsenal had seen through him and while I liked him when he first came in he looks like a bloke badly going through the motions ,not what this club needs

The right hand side doom of Old man Coleman and Walcott is really costing this side ,Coleman not able to do what he used too and I’ve lost count of how many times Theo gives the Ball away when cutting inside ,major upgrades needed in this area

Seems like whoever we play against have mostly sussed this out, and targets us down our right side.

He has a superb knack of getting into goalscoring positions but is unfortunately a very poor finisher.

Our other wingers need to learn from watching him. Bernard and Lookman etc pass the ball and stop. They never bust a gut to get into the centre of the goal. It's pure laziness

I do appreciate his movement at times, but he almost leads the league in bad touches per game. That would normally be fine if he was a CF that was producing a lot - Salah is up there, Richarlison, Hazard - but its inexcusable in his case.

I don't think he's lazy. He's just a poor decision maker. He would still have value coming off the bench and running at teams.

I wasn't overly enthused with his signing at the time and it looks an even bigger mistake now. It seems that, unfortunately, we're stuck with a very inconsistent player, hovering around the 30 mark who is on a huge wage. He won't be easy to shift if we are indeed looking to upgrade him. I don't think he's a bad player but he's essentially just a pace merchant, which will be his first quality to disappear as he gets older.

I think we need to bin him, and I hope his replacement is left footed. We are hopelessly imbalanced when it comes to the amount of left footers in the team.
