Class act. Always had a bit part player within the arsenal set up and did really well to score the number of goals that he did. He is now benefiting from a regular run of games in a team, it’s just a pity he has joined a team that has been struggling. Let’s hope a better transfer policy in the summer, means he is surrounded by better players who can utilise his talents even more, just like Rooney did today.

Always thought he was an effective premier league player, his goals and assists indicate that. What has surprised me is his intelligence as a footballer, neat tidy, head up and exceptional movement. Seems like a decent sort too so long may it continue

You can see the difference he’s made instantly, before he came we couldn’t even manage a shot a game and now we are actually scoring.

My biggest surprise is that he is actually trying to make through balls and split the defence, whereas he is normally the one making the runs.

I can definitely see him becoming one of those players like Gareth Barry, that you don’t realise how good they are until they actually play for you.
