This wasn't any old car exploding, say, as it was being valet parked a few hundred yards away from the Trump building. It wasn't even any old Tesla. It was the most iconic and immediately noticeable of Tesla vehicles. Such a vehicle exploding at the front entrance of the most politically sensitive building in the area is very, very suspicious.

The likelihood of this being intentional are something like 80-90%. If it's an accident I'll hold my hands up and withdraw my job application to the FBI. I don't wear enough nose rings to get hired by the FBI anyway.

“Infamous” would be a better description than “iconic”. The Cybertruck is tracking towards being an even bigger failure than the Ford Edsel. People have basically paid over $100k for a semi-functional prototype. Those pieces of **** are lucky if they make it to the end of the assembly line before breaking down for the first time.

I had posted about this in another thread, but the Frontline on the Maine shooting in Lewiston goes into a deep dive on the mental health of the army veteran who was the shooter. One thing I never knew, or considered, was that lots of these folks have CTE/brain damage from the constant proximity to explosions. The shooter was a grenade instructor, which led to CTE, and he was increasingly delusional and paranoid about everyone talking behind his back; he went to places he would normally frequent, a bar and bowling alley, and shot people.

I continue to struggle to get my head around how unbelievably stupid he is. He actually linked a chart that shows a perfect correlation between America’s rise to global economic domination and the flatlining of tariffs as a revenue source in a tweet hoping to make his case FOR tariffs.
