But aside from that, Trump (and others) has stated how much they spend per child on education and how they perform on a global level isnt giving value.
In addition, Obama had a policy to protect black students -- the threat was that if there are higher levels of expulsions / suspensions etc for black students than other races the school can be sued.
This was removed by Trump last time and Biden didnt reinstate it BUT there is a bias now towards the LGBT community.
Everything should be fair and a level playing field.
In addition the shared toilets / changing rooms and allowing boys to compete against girls are all horrifying.
States are each better placed to manage the local student population and take responsibility for the local schools. Theres too much broadstrokes going on in the US when it comes to a single body making decisions that affect people and groups differently.
There were / are 6-10 department leaders that have zero prior experience of the field theyve been appointed to under Biden.
